Speed Dating 101
My hot friend and I decided to take fate into our own hands – or the bull by the horns to be more precise – and try Speed Dating. We’d both had it to the back teeth with smug snuggled-up-on-the-sofa couples, which is enough to make any good-natured singleton shiver with disgust and bring up their lunch.

Now that's what I'm talkin' 'bout
I love Tapas.
Sometimes when eating out, I just want to order two entrees instead of a main course, and I think this is why Tapas appeals so much – plus after spending many a hot and hazy summer in Spain, I fell in Iove with the concept of grazing over a shared meal, jug of sangria at my elbow.
So I was chuffed when it was agreed earlier in the week, that my friends and I really fancied a meal of Tapas and some beve’s.

Getting down
Wowza. Choice night.
My friends and I had a merry time at The Ponsonby. What used to be the old Post Office is now set up as a Belgian bistro and stands proudly on the corner of St Mary’s Road. Quite a bit of the original decor has remained and comes complete with high ceilings and a charming 1920s feel. continue reading »
